JUSTIN BONURA, Partner / Creative Director: Justin leads the strategic and creative development efforts for a diverse collection of agency clients, providing experience and focus to all Cerberus projects. As a seasoned copywriter of the highest caliber with more than 20 years’ experience, Justin is responsible for the ideation and copy development for marketing solutions that span a broad spectrum of advertising media.

Personal copywriting honors include seven Best of Show Awards (’97, ’03, ’04, ’06, ’07, ‘09, ‘10) in the American Association of Advertising Agencies’ (AAAA) New Orleans Competition, two National Silver Awards, four Bronze National TELLY Awards, Gold in Creativity 26 Show (’96) and over 100 combined Silver and Bronze AAAA Awards. In 2009, against a field of national suitors, Mr. Bonura led all creative efforts to earn agency of record honors for The Drake Hotel in Chicago. His work for The Drake Hotel was recognized by Communication Arts magazine and published in 2010’s Advertising Annual 51.

Working as creative director for seven years prior to joining Cerberus, Justin has led award-winning creative teams at Zehnder Communications and Keating Magee in New Orleans. Prior to holding the position of VP/CD at Keating Magee, Justin spent four years leading creative efforts as a senior copywriter for Peter A. Mayer Advertising and worked for two years at Trumpet Advertising in a similar role. Other notable employers included Lewis Communications in Birmingham and TBWA/Chiat Day in Pittsburgh.

ROCKY RUSSO, Partner / Creative Director As creative director and contributing designer, Rocky designs, directs, and contributes to creative efforts across a wide spectrum of disciplines. Rocky’s experience as a seasoned art director of the highest degree and steadfast dedication help to ensure that all Cerberus creative projects meet the agency’s exacting standards.

On behalf of the New Orleans Sports Foundation, Rocky Russo designed the bid that secured the 2013 NCAA Women’s Final Four and was instrumental in the design of the award-winning bid that won the 2013 Super Bowl for New Orleans. Rocky also brings the experience of having created designs for a roster of national clients including Reebok, Ben & Jerry’s and Calvin Klein Fragrances. He directed the design and merchandising efforts on behalf of New Orleans’ Voodoo Music Festival for 11 years and has also been the creative force behind all merchandise design and production for the 2005 AAU Junior Olympic Games, among others.
